Slinky Slimey Saturday!

This morning we are pleased to report that JB's Big World has collided with JB's Small World!

Charli was the first to discover this exciting event!

Gaia was very happy to make a new acquaintance. Secretly, I think Gaia invited him inside during the night!

Mom was not pleased.

Mom shrieked!

Mom yelled and then shrieked again! She said she was doing this so the rest of us would not come over and try to eat our new friend.

But I think as small as our visitor was, mom was scared of him.

Then what happened?

Mom flushed him....

Then we had breakfast.

Happy Snuggles & Purrs

Mom left us for 6 whole days for a bizness trip, and she just got back this morning. She says she has red eyes, but I don't know what that means.

Naturally, I wanted to be upset when she got home, but I just could not stay mad for long, so I am happily purring and snuggling with mom most of the day!

GRASS HOG!!

We need to give an update on our farming project, which we got as a gift from our friend, Prints the Cat!

Charli was a good helper, and helped to mix the soil and plant the seeds. She did an ok job, but kept wanting scritches from mom, so she got distracted. We planted oats, wheat, barley and rye, and all were 100% organic!

Our crop started to sprout very quickly!

Hey mom, we think you watered the barley too much!

Charli was very proud of her crop, and took just a small taste of the young tender grasses.

But then along came Gaia, the GRASS HOG!
She mowed, and mowed and MOWED the grass down!

Gaia: Do you all have a problem with this??

Looks like we will have to order more seeds for a new crop!

4 Year Blogoversary, an Aromatic Christmas Surprise, and Happy New Year!

We can't believe it has been exactly 4 years today since I started my Small World blog! There have been many changes in my CatHouse along the way, but the one thing remains constant and that is that we have met so many wonderful friends through blogging. We love you all and thanks for being our friends!

As I gaze into my new Magic 8 Ball into 2012, we wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year!

And now, we want to thank Chester's sissie, Lucy and her siblings, for a most wonderful Christmas surprise!

First of all, we were very intrigued with the Box and some aromatic smells coming from it!

Gaia was quick to approve the smells and immediately took a BIG deep whiff!

Then as Chester always sticks his nose into things, he had to stick his nose into a little red box. Be careful, Chester, it is a Skunk!

Chester: It's ok, it is not a real Skunk, but how cool if it was!

Then we got to watch the Skunk in action, rolling around the house! Gaia still thought the Skunk might be real, so she made a funny face like she could really smell it!
