Saturday Caturday

Charli:  Hey Armani, do you think mom will play with us today?
Armani:  I don't know, Charli.  I don't know.
Charli:  Hey Armani, do you want to bathe me today?
Armani: Sure, but maybe later.  I see a bug outside.
Charli:  Hey Armani, I am glad you are my big brother.
Armani:  And I am glad you are my little sister, Charli.

A New Perception on Eggs!

Every year at Easter time, I must give my words of wisdom to my siblings on eggs.  Real Cats Don't Eat Eggs! I have said it many times.
I wrote about it in 2008, in 2009, and in 2010, if you want to go back and read my past advice, and see that I am firm on this.

But then, Chester's sissie, Lucy changed our minds.  Lucy the E.B. (Lucy the Easter Bunny) sent Chester the Wonder Cat a surprise package.

Look what was inside!  It was an Egg!
And Chester was super excited that Lucy had handpawed a letter just for him!
I had to sniff the Egg very closely.  There was something very different about this Egg.
Then mom cracked it open.....
OMC!  There was a Bug in this Egg!

I decided to call a house meeting.  Do you all concur?  "Aye!"
We all concur.
Real Cats Don't Eat Eggs.....unless there is a Bug in them!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYBUDDY!
May all your Eggs have Bugs in them this Easter!

Mad at Mom Monday.....Again!

We are all mad at mom again.  She is neglecting us, and this is my look of disgust.  I have spent a lot of time purrfecting it lately.

We have been neglected for flowers and sunshine on the weekends, and work on the weekdays!

Chester is so bored, he can not stop yawning.

CocoBean reports that our toys are not moving.

Charli and Armani are trying to figure out how to get through this little window to meet the toys, uh we mean, actors on BIRD TV.

Gaia reports that she had to find her own moving toy.

Mom is not sure if she is happy Gaia found this toy, because now she worries that there are other "toys" in the house!
And I, JB, am angry that mom fumigated this toy, and flushed it down the commode.  I am sure he was my friend!

Pedro's Mom Came to Visit!

Does anyone remember, Pedro the Chihuahua?
He has not been around much, but he is still my little buddy.  Well, guess what?  Pedro's mom came to visit us a couple weeks ago!
We tried to sniff Pedro on her, but she must have taken a shower before she came over.

Pedro's mom brought us a bunch of fun toys, and we really got into the mice with the poofy pom pom feather tails!

Charli licked the feathers till they were sopping wet.

Gaia got a fiendish look in her eyes, as you can see, and started running crazy around the house with one in her mouth and throwing it up on the table!

Armani was just hamming it up as usual.

Thanks Pedro's mom!
Mom says it was great to see you again!

I Was Outside in the Bushes for 25 Minutes!

Gaia has been hogging my blog lately, and she is always trying to get attention.  First the Glamour Shots, then the Fish incident, and now this!

Gaia:  "I was outside in the bushes for 25 minutes!  Whoo hoo!!"
The front door had blown open from the wind when mom went to check the mail, and she walked back to the house, saw me, JB, standing in the open doorway.  I told mom that Gaia had left the premises.  Mom became frantic!  She emailed the whole neighborhood for help and had two neighbors casing the neighborhood searching for her.  Mom ran up and down the street and around the pond area too calling for Gaia.

All mom could think about was that Bob the Cat had been seen a lot by our house lately, on our street, and right near the pond across the street!
Gaia would be a nice tasty meal for Bob!

Finally mom recognized a tail running through the bushes.  That's right, this is the tail, but only it was outside in the bushes!
Mom knew the only way to catch Gaia was to call out the magic word: "CRUN-CHEES"!
Then Gaia walked out of the bushes immediately straight to mom.
Gaia had been watching the whole chain of events quietly from the bushes in front of our house!
Mom then fed her CRUN-CHEES (Temptations), even though she was so mad at her, but so grateful that she was home again.

JB:  "I don't know what to do any more.  I need order in my house!"
