Chester's Play Date - Part I

Hi Everyone, it's me, Chester (formerly known as Dumplin'). I had a very exciting day on Sunday. My mom took me on a play date to see my birth mama, Gaia, and my real sister, Sugar! They still live at my foster parents house were I was born.

Look closely at the above picture. Can you tell which one is me? Ok, maybe my white feets gave me away, but my mom was so surprised how much I looked like my mama!

I was a little bit scared, since I had to ride in the car to get here, but mom told me to be a big boy and to be brave.

Here is my sister, Sugar. She is a beauty, don't you think? My mom says we all have good jeans. I am not sure what that means because I don't like to wear clothes.

Mom also says we look like we are related because we all have dancing jeans! Look at my mama, above.....

And who can forget this recent picture of me "Break Dancing"!

My mom was not sure if we all remembered each other, since the last time I saw my sister and my mama, it was over 5 months ago.

But when mom looks back at my baby pictures with Gaia and Sugar, like this one, mom thinks we really do remember each other.
We will always be family, and my sister and I will always be Sugar and a Dumplin'.

Water, What is it Good For?

Look what we got!

A Drinkwell water fountain!

It scared me a little because, as you know, I don't like getting my furs wet.

Chester likes it a lot, and he drank from it right away.

Of course, like anything with water, Chester had to try to play with it!

Mom hopes that Chester will stop playing in the kitchen sink now......

.....And stop playing in the big ceramic water bowl too!

Thankful Thoughts on Friday

We would like to thank all of our friends for all your support over the last few months. We are so grateful to have such great friends!

We sold our "other house" on Wednesday, where we lived briefly with my ex-step-daddy, and mom is so excited and relieved!
As some of you know, we moved back in March to our house we lived in before.....and this was always our "real home".

Chester had been very upset over all that mom has been through, but he is getting over it. He still misses his playmate, Bear, who he only knew for a short time. We do not know where Bear is now, and that will haunt mom forever.

Our good friends, Hansel, Tesla and Benny, surprised us with a mug remembrance gift of Bear.
How did they know this was mom's favorite picture of Bear?

Chester and I told mom that this mug would be a good place to keep some treats for us. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, Hansel, Tesla and Benny!

So our life is sort of back to normal, except we still miss PooPoo and Misty, who we left us for the Rainbow Bridge in "that other house".
What's next, mom? We are waiting to see what is next in our lives!
Oh, and one more thing, mom....Don't forget!......if you bring another man into this house, they have to answer to us first!

2 More Days.....

My mom has been very busy, so we have not been able to blog much. Only 2 more days, we hope, and our life will be back to normal.

In the meantime, here is what is going on in my CatHouse...

Chester and I are having a lot of cat fights. You can tell who is the boss, right?

Chester got a big head when everyone said he was a good dancer, so now he thinks he can "BreakDance" too.

And I have claimed Chester's new mousie toy as mine!

We can't wait to start visiting our friends again soon! We miss you!

Very Luxurious!

Mom bought me some new furniture. It is very luxurious!

I get to lay on my new chair on my blanket. It is very luxurious!

I get to lay on my new cushions. It is very luxurious!

Chester tries to lay next to me on my new furniture too, and I don't like that.

But it is still very luxurious!

What is Wrong with my Brother, Chester??

JB here, with a taste test of the latest stinky goodness from Fancy Feast......

Mom got me two flavors to try. These are Appetizers, sorta like my fishy flakes. Mom says I can not have them all the time, because they are very expensive, just like my fishy flakes. Seabass and Shrimp is my favorite so far, and I give it a two paws up!
Has AnyCat tried these yet?

But what is wrong with my brother, Chester?? He won't eat any stinky goodness at all! He makes a face and turns up his nose every time mom buys a new kind for him to try!

He would rather human's food, like pizza!

Or lettuce!

It's ok with me, because that's just more for me, but my mom wants to know if AnyCat out there hates stinky goodness too?
