Look What We Got!

We had a great Christmas, and we hope you did too. My mom has still been busy to help me blog, but I wanted to show you some of the things we got!

I got a fancy red tent! Of course, I gathered my feathers to join me in my tent!

Bear got lots of toys. Yeah, maybe he won't keep taking mine then!

"Mom, really? Is this for me?" Yes, PooPoo got a Scratch Lounge, so she could manicure her long nails!

PooPoo also got a Happy Kitty nip heart, because she is so happy? Well, lately she seems a just a tiny bit more happy......I'll tell you more about that later....

Misty has been hanging out in her room. She got some toys and nip too, but mom thinks she is not feeling well lately. Her spine is really bony, and mom is worried, because she is down to about 7.8 pounds. Misty has to go to the V-E-T on Wednesday for a check-up. Please help us purray that she will be ok!

Chi Present & Secret Paws!

I was SUPER excited to receive TWO Christmas presents this past week! The first present came from my very good Chihuahua friends, Rambo and Midget Molly! See their pictures on the card they sent me?

Now Chihuahuas are doggies, but what good choices they made in picking out kitty gifts for me! I did not know they knew how much I LOVE feathers!!

Mom, mom!! I think this feather is moving!! Mom!!

It IS moving!! I better capture it now!

I caught it, and I had to take it down the hallway to the bedroom so I could be alone with it. I will come back for the big pink one next!

My second present was from my Secret Paw, Zoey, and she's an Island Cat!!

I was SUPER excited AGAIN! Look at all the goodies in my present! I was especially curious about the green and blue feathers.......

I told mom I had to take them down the hallway to the bedroom to be alone with them too......

Mom! Mom! This is my private time with my feathers! Why are you taking my picture?

After spending some alone time with my new feathers, I decided it was time to get a little nipped out with my new nip 'naner!

V-E-T Visit!

"I had a very traumatic day this week. I had to go to the V-E-T! I hate this cardboard PTU! It is old and it smells of the V-E-T!" (Mom has tried to buy better PTU's but then she can't get us into them unless they are top loaders......)

"I just hate this cardboard PTU......I can barely breathe when it is closed! I hyperventilate, and shake uncontrollably, and cry "Help me, Help me", really loud when I am in it. I am really close to suffocating in this thing!"

"Mom always takes me out of the box when we get to that little waiting room at the V-E-T, and she tries to comfort me. It does not work......I must hide my face and try to pretend this torture is not happening to me again!"

"No, mom! I can not take my face out of your jacket! It is too scary here!"

"Oh, no, here we go......I have to get poked and prodded. My heart is fine, I tell you! My lungs are fine! I have two good kidneys! Don't you see how clean and pristine my furs are? Just for the record, clean furs won't get you out of getting your shots......in one shot went in my butt-ock, and then the nerve.....the V-E-T squirted the other shot up my nose!!"

"When we got home I was so traumatized that I had to do a really long session of toe picking. That helps me calm down a little......till next time. And I hear there is a next time.....the V-E-T stole my bloods and I have to go back to get my teeth cleaned!! Mom! Mom!.....pleeeaase don't make me go back!"

"Bear had to go to the V-E-T too. Bear is not smarter than the average Bear......yet. He was so excited to go in the car. Bear is too young to know any better........poor Bear."

P.S. JB here.....My mom keeps promising me that she will help me blog more and then what happens? Nothing! Today she says she has to go Christmas shopping! All i can say is there better be some presents for me when she comes home! I miss you all so much!

Always Inspect Feathers Before Use

Since I now have a DAWG brother, I must carefully inspect all my feathers before use.

This one smells acceptable, semi-free of Bear slobber, and the feathers are still quite dry and floofy like I like them.
Mom!! Come and play with me with my feathers! I found a good one!
