Help, Help!

PooPoo has been so dramatic lately. She hollers for mom from the bathroom every morning at around 5:00am. It is almost like she is calling "Help, Help!" When mom goes into the bathroom, PooPoo is usually hanging out on her new tower.

She is always happy to see mom in the morning, but then slowly remembers that she is very mad, and then reverts back to her irritable old self.

That is the update on PooPoo. Mom still does not know what else she can do to make her comfortable.

PooPoo has gotten a lot:

*A new tower!
*Two cans of stinky goodness per day!
*Her favorite Fancy Feast crunchies
*Good Cat homeopathic drops for her water
*Her own radio!
*A new night light!
*3 beds!
*And mom feeling guilty for leaving her in the bathroom, so she visits her for "quality time" about 6 times a day!

Go figure......Dr. Phil? Are you out there somewhere? Can't you please help us?

In Memory of Gizmo

I would like to take this day to remember my friend, Gizmo. Gizmo went to the Bridge on Tuesday 9/23/08, after a long illness with cancer. Please go visit his mum and his brother, Deetz, as they are very sad right now, as are we.

Gizmo was a fighter and never complained or cried, even when he was hurting so bad. My mom and I called him "the little gray furry fighter". Mom said it seemed it was "the little gray ones" that fought the hardest.

My sister Misty is our "little gray one". She has also had health issues, and has fought hard, and is healthy now. Misty always looked up to Gizmo because she knew he was very wise and strong. Misty is very sad now to have lost such a great role model.

Gizmo.....Now you can run and frolic without pain and one day we will see you again. Gizmo, you will be greatly missed.

Mom, I shun you for leaving us alone the last 2 and half days!

Let it be known, that I, JB (AKA, Jelly Bean), shun my mom! Ok, well, so I shunned mom for 10 minutes.....and then a large dose of scritches was in order!

Mom says she will help me get caught up with everyone's blogs in the next couple of days......

Alone Again......

Mom, we can't even look at you now. You tell us you are leaving us for the weekend to go to Phoenix? But why? What will we do for two whole days??

Misty says she can't even look at mom either.

And Misty gave mom "the tail" as best she could in her upset state.

(Mom will be back on Monday, and our petsitter will be by to check on us, but we still don't like it!)

ManCat Alert!

Guess what? I had a visitor to my house, and it was a handsome ManCat! At first I was scared and a little bashful, to see such a handsome Mancat, so I peeked through the bedroom door. Can you see me?

He had some very attractive stripes and did I mention, he was very handsome? I hope he is not too young for me!

But who told him he could snoopervise in my backyard?

My daddy took a look at his collar and it said his name was Rocky. My mom was worried about him being outside all by himself. So mom called the number on his collar and left a message that we found Rocky and was he supposed to be outside?

But nobody ever called my mom back! I sure hope Rocky has a good forever home! I know my mom would call back no matter what, even if I was an outside cat!

Rocky and I spent the evening together. He looked at me through the bedroom door. But I played hard to get.

Then I looked at him from my tower in the family room. I thought he was very handsome. Then he started to take a bath right in front of me! I got even more bashful then! I am sure my furs were blushing!

I Helped My Mom Organize

Since it was really windy and rainy outside on Saturday, mom decided to organize the closet. I am good at organizing, because I organize my toys a lot, so I told mom I would help her.

I helped her with this pile of shirts.

I thought I heard something under the pile, so I had to go check it out. I think there is a bug or a cricket under here, mom!

Mom told me I was being TOO organized, and not to worry about bugs or crickets right now.

We had just gotten down to my daddy's soft red flannel shirt, so I decided to take a break. Organizing is a lot of work, you know!

The soft feeling of the flannel under my toes, put me in the mood to take a bath.

But why did mom take a picture of me in the most un-ladylike pose of all? Mom! All my friends will see me!

I quickly changed poses to one of my most cutest looks.

(To my friends: Please don't think less of me now that my mom has shown me in this unfavorable light!)

A Package Much Bigger Than a Jelly Bean!

Guess what? I got a package from my good friend Deetz and his mum, and look how big the box was! It was much bigger than a Jelly Bean! It had stuff in it called peanuts. At first I was scared of them, but then I tried to eat them. After all, they are called peanuts....aren't they?

After my post about my friend the Toad, in my Big World blog, Deetz and his mum told me they had a Toad House that they wanted to send me. I was super excited! I will show you some of the preparations Deetz did when packing up the Toad House.














Deetz gave the Toad House a good sniff and a good luck kiss that it would house lots of Toads for me. Little Gizmo, Deetz's little bro, got in on the action too!

When Deetz was certain that the Toad House was packed properly, he told him mum it was time to go to the UPS store.

Who knew Deetz was such a good driver? Looks how focused he is, checking his rear view mirrors and all! The package was mailed safely, thanks to Deetz's care and attention!

~~~~And now back to my house, where I became SUPER excited, because I don't get packages often!~~~~

After realizing that the peanuts were not for eating, I got the stuff in the package out. Look at how neat this house is! It even says "Toad House" on the front of it, so the Toads know where they are supposed to live!

Deetz and his mum also sent us some housewarming gifts like a birdhouse for all my birdie friends and also a calendar with pictures of Cat and Dog Buddies in it! That is just like me and Deetz are, buddies! We will find the perfect spot for the birdhouse near our bird feeder, and I will hang the calendar where I eat my breakfast, so I always know what day it is!

There were also some great sniffing feathers.......and you know how I LOVE feathers!

Feathers are great for playing "Attack!"

I always win the feather attack game when my mom plays it with me. I am very quick and agile!

Deetz did not forget about PooPoo either! PooPoo got a special pink catnip present "For cats with an attitude"! PooPoo was very happy with her present, and she thanks you too, Deetz!

(If you are wondering where Misty is, she gets scared of toys, so she did not come and play.....silly Misty!)

~~~~On a sadder note~~~~

Deetz's little bro (little in size, not in years or wisdom), Gizmo's health has gotten much worse. His mum has been asking Gizmo if he needs help getting to the Bridge, and for him to please help her to know if it is time. This is a very sad time for Deetz and his family. Wordless Wednesday With Misty

I remember what happened in our dining room in our old house. My table was stolen!

Here I am at our new house.

Still no table! What gives? Didn't mom promise me a new table to lay my furs on? Here I sit.....waiting....waiting, for my new table.

You Should Try This Too

Mom, my left eye hurts real bad. Do you see how pink it is? I can't even open it very far at all. I am hurted. What can you do to make my eye feel better?

I think my mom knows what to do, as I get into position......scritches always make me feel better every time!

A little scritch with my derriere in the air.......

And a little scritch laying on my side....

And then a scritch on the back of my neck will do just fine! I think my eye feels much better now! Thanks, mom!

Aaahhh, it works every time! One can never have too many scritches, and one needs to know how to go about getting them!
