Caturday Dilemma

PooPoo Was Tagged With a Meme!

Our friend, Bunyu at Meaouwy Troops, has tagged PooPoo with a meme. The rules state to list a fact using the first letter of PooPoo's middle name.....PooPoo does not really have a middle name so she will use her first name, PooPoo.

Too Much of a Good Thing?

My mom did not have time to play with me last night, so she told me she would let me have some nip leaves to sniff. I came over to take a look and a sniff.

What are these peculiar dried leaves? I have never seen nip in it's natural form before.....I am only familiar with it inside nip toys and nip pillows. I will pick some up....

Maybe I should taste it.

Oh, no! I don't think I should have tasted it. I ate too much of it! I am feeling a little queasy now. It has a sharp taste and it is burning my tongue!

I am feeling rather ill now. I think my mom let me overdose!

Mom! I might have to go see Dr. Staph! (You know I must be ill if I want to go see Dr. Staph.) I think I ate some too much nip! If you look closely, it is even stuck to my nose!


The Moral of the Story: If you are very small like a Jelly Bean, like me, don't eat too much nip......it could have adverse affects!

Real Cats Don't Eat Eggs!

Mom was going to color some eggs for us for Easter. Mom said that maybe we should eat eggs today instead of Temptations since it is Easter. I sniffed them out to see if I would like them.....

No, I don't think I like them. They don't sniff good at all! Especially when I can imagine the tantalizing smell of Temptations nearby!

I was a little freaked out at the thought that I might have to eat eggs instead of Temptations!

Snoozing on My Burgundy Blanket

This is my favorite blanket in my house. It is super soft and luxurious, and I can have some really good dreams snoozing on this blanket.

I let PooPoo sleep on it too......sometimes. I think PooPoo likes it a lot too.

As long as PooPoo does not leave any poop on my favorite blanket.....I will let her join me.

Daily Birdie Watch

This was from last week when we had sunshine.....I am getting ready for birdies! You can see the small patch of sunlight coming in the house in the bottom part of this picture. Mom has just alerted me to wake up from my nap, by saying "Birdies! Get the birdies" (in a high voice).

I must be sure to be ready, so I don't miss the birdies. I am getting into postition!

I check both sides of the sofa, just to make sure I don't miss anything......is that a birdie down there?


I jump off and on the sofa as needed if I see a particularly good birdie! In case you did not know, I am especially good at walking on my hind legs like a Meerkat. Do you think Meerkats like birdies as much as I do?


Maybe if I wait quietly and patiently...... oh, but my whiskers are so perky and excited, it is hard to sit still!


I must have a quick draw paw, and then I can catch the birdies!


Aaahh, the sweet smell of success! Do you see all the birdies right in front of me, glistening in the sunshine? I got them! I got them!!


A job well done, I might add. I do this every day the sun shines, so I am very good at it!


P.S. For those of you who don't know what "birdies" are, they are specks of dust or strands of my furs that float and glisten in the afternoon sunshine. Mom pets me and this helps make the birdies fly!

PooPoo on ToesDay

I have never participated in "Toesday" yet, so this is my first Toesday post. I wanted to make PooPoo feel better and attractive, so I am presenting PooPoo's pretty white toes. So far they are still pretty and white after her grooming.

I Am Bored....

Mom, I am bored.......so, so bored......what am I going to do today?

Where are you today? Are you working AGAIN today? And what do you mean you are going to work in the yard this weekend! What about me?

What's this? Is this something to play with? Is it a string? It's not moving though.....I'd have to play by myself....that is not much fun.

Before I Was Born......

My sisters have lived longer than I have. They lived in a different house in California a long time ago before I was a living Jelly Bean.

They used to all like each other back then.....but Misty was still scared back then, but not as much as she is now! Taffy became my mom's daughter when mom found her at a shelter when she was about 3 years old.

PooPoo shared food with Misty and Taffy when she was younger. Now she just snarfs up everything in sight so we can't have as much!

This was all before I was born..............

P.S. Sorry the scans are not so good from old photos....and Taffy was so white you can hardly see how beautiful she was! We miss Taffy a lot!

Making a Point

I had to tell my mom that we should not post poop on my blog any more, like from my last post. That post grosses me out because MY furs are so clean and pristine! To make this point very clear, I had to get right in my mom's face, right in the camera's lens.

Dr. Phil, Can You Please Help Us?

My mom is at her wit's end with PooPoo. Mom spent hundreds of dollars last week to get PooPoo cleaned up, and glamorized, and we are now back to the same stinky PooPoo problem, just one week later!!

Even with almost no furs, she manages to get poop stuck to her! We don't know what to do. PooPoo is such a mean cat hissing and swatting all the time, that mom can't help her. Mom bought her a brand new nip pillow to calm her down, and it still did not help.

Here is an example of the stink we have to deal with......yep, that is a big piece of poop stuck to her tail!

Does anyone in the blogosphere have any suggestions? We think PooPoo needs some professional help. It is like she is mad at the world. Dr. Phil, can you help us?

Did Someone Say "Birdies"?

Did someone say "birdies"? Birdies where? I am all perked up now....did someone say birdies? My lips are pursed in anticipation of birdies!

What kind of birdies? Dust and furs "birdies" like I like? Or REAL birdies? Well, I like real birdies too....so either is good.

Oh, mom said there were birdies outside again. They were trying to find seed in the snow. Yes, it snowed AGAIN last night! Twice in one week! Where do we live?? The North Pole?

This birdie looks cold....all plumped up. I will ask mom to invite him inside to get warm, so I can play with him! I am sure his feathers would be fun to play with too....they look so floofy!

It's Magic.....JB Can Float!

Here I am on top of the glass. It looks like I am floating in the air!

Here I am from under the glass! I think my furs look a little bit squashed......and not so floofy from this angle. I really look like I am floating now!

My toes are still floofy from this angle......

I am just being silly today! Aahhh, the camera loves me from all angles.....even through the glass!

Time to go for a nap.......in JB's Dream World......Zzzzzzz.......maybe I will dream of being a magician since I can float in the air!

Dry Toes....No Snow For Me!

What is snow? I had never seen so much of this stuff in my life! I don't know what the official report was, but it looked like we got about 4 inches. Where does it come from?

Mom tried to make me put my toes in the snow, but I would not let her. I got scared and climbed on her back, so she could not get a grip of me! (There is no picture of this because I hurt my mom's back with my sharp nails!)

I quickly went back to my toys, and hoped mom would not try that ever again!

You can see that my toes are still completely dry......I don't like snow. I don't like wet furs or wet toes. I hope my mom remembers this!

Nice dry pink and black toes......that is how I like them! My toes are a strangely floofy, but dry.
